Established in September 1983 and listed on the Egyptian Exchange since April 1992, Egypt Gas is a Giza-based public company operating within the gas utilities sector with a focus on utilities. The company is controlled by the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co, which holds an 83.2% stake. Its holdings include stakes in Union Gas, Egyptian Company for Natural Gas Distribution in Cities, and Natural Gas Vehicles Co.
